Financing Questions

What buyers ask first.

Straight answers. Not listed? Call us.

Is Skeer the lender?

No. Skeer is not a financial institution. The lender is Direct Capital in the United States and Fincap Financial Group in Canada.

All terms, rates, and approvals are set by the partner. Applying doesn't commit you to a purchase.

Do I have to finance through one of your partners?

No. Pay cash, use your bank, or pick any lender. These two know our equipment, so most customers see faster decisions with them.

How long does approval take?

Varies by lender and your profile. Fincap : first contact in 20 min to 12 hrs, decision in 24 to 48 hrs. Direct Capital : generally same-week.

Bigger orders and longer business history move faster.

What credit score or business history do I need?

Each partner sets their criteria. Direct Capital publishes 550+ as a starting reference. Real approval depends on time in business, revenue, equipment value, and term length.

The fastest way to find out where you stand : apply. No fee, non-binding.

Can I finance more than one Skeer at a time?

Yes. Fleet purchases are standard. Both partners handle multi-unit applications. If you're scaling, tell the lender the full order up front so they can structure the right term.

Is leasing an option, or only purchase financing?

Both partners offer equipment leasing and outright financing. The trade-offs (tax treatment, end-of-term ownership, monthly payment) depend on how you run your books. Ask the lender for both quotes if you're not sure.

Does applying affect my credit?

Both partners pull a credit report on application : that's a hard inquiry and may have a small temporary effect on your score. The application has no fee and doesn't commit you to a loan. Ask the partner about their exact process before submitting if you want details.
